Who is behind Think2Code?

×
Think2Code is managed by experienced software engineering mentors who believe teenagers deserve to learn high-fidelity text-based languages using actual industry setups (like Git and local IDE workspaces) rather than abstract block logic.
Python is a professional, text-based coding language used by global tech firms like Google and Netflix. Block coding is great for learning basic logic structures, but high school students need text-based programming to build real-world programs and prep for actual computer science studies.
Traditional coding cohorts group 15 to 30 students together, where students copy code off a screen without understanding it. By limiting classes strictly to 1-on-1, our mentors can review the student's code block-by-block, guide them through bugs, and provide custom review assessments at their own individual pace.
We schedule separate batches for weekdays (Tuesdays/Thursdays) and weekends (Saturdays). Once you register your teen for a trial class, our team contacts you to coordinate a slot matching your time zone.
Students need a laptop or desktop computer (Windows, macOS, or ChromeOS with Linux enabled) with a working microphone and camera. Stable internet is necessary since classes are interactive video calls. Tablet and mobile devices are not suitable for coding files.
